This airend, balanced for 44 m3/min (direct version at 2960 rpm, 10 bar) builds the top of our SCA range (Screw Compressor Airend).

This machine planned to satisfy our customers’ requests, which more and more often require screw compressors for large air flows, has been studied, designed and produced by TM.C. Termomeccanica Compressori.
The rotor profile has been entirely designed by our Technical Department, thanks to more than 20 years of experience; the rotors have been produced in the new machining centre at our facilities in Taranto, where most sophisticated technologies allow to create such big screws (the male rotor has a length of 103 cm and a weight of 208 kg).
Rigorous quality controls made with up to date technological instrumentation available in both facilities assure highest reliability of the finished product.
With this machine TM.C. has increased its product array, which now covers a power range from 2,2 to 434 kW.
